Compact spreading habit, spectacular white bloom

Remarks

Plant for acid soil, aerated, remaining wet in summer, and exposure not too sunny or hot.

Small evergreen shrub of heather earth, rounded, orange-red obovate leaves becoming shiny dark green. The flowering takes place from early spring, in the form of clusters of small bells, melliferous. 'Prelude' has a rounded spread habit wider than its height, its young shoots are coppery, and in spring it is covered with clusters of pure white bells.
