Main asset

Vigorous shrub or small tree, decorative with its red young shoots, its blood-red summer bloom (clusters up to 60 cm high), its orange-red autumn colors, and its bark on old subjects.

Remarks

This vigorous variety can be conducted in multistem. The blooming, mid-season, destines it for hot summer regions (South of the Loire). Near DYNAMITE 'Whit II', a little more vigorous and floriferous, with less red foliage.

A vigorous new variety of Crape Myrtle (Carl Whitcomb, Lacebark Nurseries), mid-season blooming in large clusters of frizzy, blood-red petals.
