Main asset
A native tree of rapid growth well adapted to European climates, and more tolerant than other varieties to wet soil conditions.
Remarks
Good resistance to wind and salted spray.
This recent Dutch selection of sycamore Maple shows good resistance to urban conditions and frost, and supports poor soils (especially very wet). Its shape, columnar when young, becomes ovoid. Fast growing, it is intended particularly for alignments.
