Main asset

Very dense, drought-resistant, evergreen. Good alternative to Boxwood.

Remarks

The plant tolerates well pruning and can be formed in topiary or used for borders.

Small evergreen suckering shrub of African and South Asia origin, the African Boxwood has small greenish-purple serrated oval leaves, becoming dark green, shiny. Its growth is naturally compact and rounded, making it a very interesting alternative to the Boxwood in its hardiness zone.
