Hardy and easy plants of medium growth, Hawthorns are useful for the auxiliary fauna, usable in shrubby form in wild or defensive hedges, and in small trees in alignments or for small gardens.

Remarks

Blossoms in spring and sometimes a second time in autumn. Thorny.

Hawthorn with double dark pink flowers grouped in corymbs. It forms a small tree with a rounded shape. The spectacular spring bloom is followed by red berries in autumn, appreciated by birds.
