Main asset

Use for free or pruned low hedge, or defensive hedge. Contrasts well with yellow foliage or blooms (Forsythia, Broom). Easy to grow.

Deciduous shrub with small leaves begining red in spring, then purple and finally turning bright red in autumn. In May, the yellow flowers contrast with the dark foliage. They are followed by red glossy berries when matured.
