Main asset

Evergreen compact plant that can be used in topiary (balls, cones) and low hedges. Brings structure to the garden, and highlights seasonal plants (shrubs, perennials, annuals). Performs well in pots.

Remarks

Very prune tolerant. Ideal for oceanic and continental climates. In Mediterranean climate, prefer Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball' for replacing boxwood.

Compact Holly with small leaves, liking remaining cool soils in summer, silt, humus-rich. It's a substitute for boxwood in North and North-West Europe, affected by Cylindrocladium buxicola.
