Main asset

Fast-growing shrub with a rounded natural habit, forming a dense hiding foliage, excellent hedge plant or in isolated or group of 3-5 plants. Good resistance to coastal conditions (salt).

Remarks

Good plant for Atlantic coastal places, supports less arid conditions than Pittosporum tobira. Can form a small tree, and sow itself (without being invasive).

Evergreen shrub native to New Zealand, young green shoots evolving in small purple leaves obovate, black twigs. Spring bloom in small black purple bells, discreet but very fragrant.
