Breeding from a french nursery, Grand Prix Saint Jean de Beauregard 2010.
Hybrid between SALVIA chamaedryoides, evergreen Mexican sage with blue flowering, x SALVIA lycioides, purple Texas sage, this variety resembles the classic SALVIA microphylla but has a more compact habit, semi-evergreen leaves, and especially uncommon deep blue flowers. Flowering lasts from June to October continuously.
