The habit being fairly spreading, provide enough place for its development.
Deciduous tree from Caucasus and Iran with dark green elliptical leaves, turning in autumn with beautiful warm colors from yellow to red. It tends naturally to form several trunks, but can behave like a single stem tree. Its bark is decorative on old subjects, peeling off, leaving yellowish young bark.
