Remarks

The Montpellier Maple is native to the Mediterranean region, but is also found on the Atlantic side until Vendée to the North.

Small tree sometimes shrub in nature, Montpellier Maple can reach 8-10 m in culture. It is characterized by its small 3-lobed leaves, dark green, glossy. Very resistant to dry conditions, even on poor, rocky limestone soil.
