From a selection of Malus halliana tested for resistance to apple diseases (fire blight, rust, powdery mildew, scab). Synonym Malus 'Admiration'.

Flowers carmine pink in bud then white once open. Shiny orange fruit. Egg-shaped crown and erect branches keeping a good shape with time. It is a erect crabapple very floriferous and fruitbearing. Suitable for small gardens.
