Alternative to Boxwood to make medium hedges or topiary forms, but can also often left unpruned to form an evergreen ground-cover.

Remarks

Since the plant grows faster than Boxwood, pruning should be regular, ideally twice a year after flowering (late June-early July) and early autumn.

Evergreen compact shrub with dense foliage, consisting of small glossy dark green leaves, round. In the middle of spring, tiny creamy white tubular flowers appear, a little scented. They are followed by purple spherical berries.
