'Gulf Stream' is a dwarf form derived from Nandina domestica 'Compacta', found at nurseries Hines Horticulture Inc. (California) in 1983, with a slightly weeping foliage. The young shoots are pale red in spring, then become light green in summer. In June, panicles of creamy white flowers appear, then followed by red berries.
