Evergreen aromatic tree, very resistant to drought, autumnal flowering. Characteristic narrow bluish foliage, light.
Remarks
The shrub can be easily pruned back, to keep a compact and dense shape. It can be planted in tank, in which case the substrate must stay moist in summer to keep a dense foliage.
Of Tasmanian origin, Eucalyptus gunnii is one of the hardiest species of Eucalyptus. FRANCE BLEU® 'Rengun' is a selection of Renault Nurseries (France) with very small blue-green elongated leaves. Growing very fast, it forms a multi-stem bush, which has however to be pruned back to force it to keep a compact shape and its beautiful juvenile foliage.
