  • Type of products available: 0/1/1P8 - 0/1/1 BR

Main asset

Large vigorous shrub, perfect in mixed hedge, with a beautiful bright flowering scented in late spring.

Remarks

Every 2-3 years, just after flowering (July), prune the shrub below the floriferous parts to cause vigorous growth of new branches, which will give the flowers the following year.

The virginalis hybrids were first obtained by Victor Lemoine (Nancy) in the early XXth century.

'Minnesota Snowflake' is a selection of Guy Bush (Minneapolis, USA) circa 1935 obtained from seedling of virginalis, with many double white flowers, orange blossom fragrance. It develops large branches rather stiff, vigorous, with characteristic arched end.
