Main asset

A powerful perfume, on a strong hardy plant, easy to maintain even on limestone soil.

Remarks

Every 2-3 years, just after flowering (July), prune the shrub below the floriferous parts to cause vigorous growth of new branches, which will give the flowers the following year.

This hybrid is one of the many varieties obtained by Victor Lemoine (Nancy) around 1898. Medium in size, its branches are arched with deciduous oval leaves, medium green, and in late spring pinkish buds followed by double creamy white flowers. 2.5-3.5 cm, very fragrant, grouped by 3-4.
