Main asset

One of the most floriferous and early varieties of all Magnolia. The flower buds are pinkish. Compact shrub very branched, quite slow growth, also suitable for growing in pots.

Remarks

Flowering period is short in case of hot spring ; it is better not to plant it facing south.

Deciduous shrub of Japanese origin, introduced in Europe at the end of the XIXth century. Before the growth of the leaves, it is covered with pure white starry flowers, slightly perfumed, larger and with more numerous petals than the type, ∅ 8-12 cm with 30-30 petals.
