Main asset
The strongest yellow foliage Caryopteris, well rounded shape not opening. Contrast between the color of the foliage and flowers, deep purple.
Remarks
Does not burn in the sun even in hot weather. The foliage turns green in the shade.
This recent North American selection (introduced in 2015) has a strong development and a very rounded compact shape. Its bright yellow foliage in the sunny locations never burns even in hot weather. Flowering in late summer, is dark purple, providing a dramatic contrast with the foliage.
