Main asset

A vigorous climber with large dark orange trumpet flowers.

Remarks

The lignification of late summer shoots is often insufficient, causing the death of the terminal parts in winter. This does not handicap the growth or subsequent flowering. Prune in march.

Vigorous deciduous climber Hybrid between CAMPSIS radicans and C. grandiflora, obtained in the XIXthcentury by the Tagliabue Nurseries in Milan (Italy). It usually climbs by aerial roots (but often needs to be tied). Large clusters of dark orange trumpets after July.
