. This new cultivar is a clear improvement of Purpureum, with its faster growth and its compact habit which does not thin.
Its adult foliage is purple, almost black and shiny, which contrasts beautifully with the tender green young shoots of spring. With its evergreen foliage in this rare color, Dark Diva is a precious shrub in a garden.
