Very hardy shrub for humid climates or in the mountains.

The Chokeberry is a deciduous shrub native of northeastern United States, in wetlands. It forms large clusters of pure white flowers in May, followed by black berries in autumn Ø 1 cm, edible but very astringent, used in jams, jellies and pies. 'Professor Ed' is a compact form of the Black Chokeberry.
